I’ve made an website

No, I didn’t change my job 🙂 I just helped some friends who own an italian delicatessen shop to make a presentation of the shop. The site is here http://www.feinkost-messina.de. I made all the photos with my Olympus E-500 and the 14-45mm lens. There is also a slideshow made with Microsoft’s XP Powertoys.

DB problems fixed

My provider, 1111mb.com, which holds the blog, made an upgrade to the latest MySQL. This killed almost all sites which use PHP+MySQL for a couple of hours 🙂 Now seems to work, but slow as hell …

Registration finally fixed

Thanks to a benevolent user, timops96, I found and fixed an issue in WordPress’ registration function. It was using the mail() function of PHP which any decent webserver(+PHP) will deactivate it. I replaced it with smtpmail and did some additional tricks and now it seems to work. Have fun registering !
