Pardon for Enigma code-breaker Alan Turing

My friend John Graham-Cumming has started a petition to force the UK government to officially ask a post-mortem pardon to Alan Turing, the father of the modern computers and the breaker of the nazis’ Enigma code.

  1. UPDATE: John has managed to gather more than 10000 signatures for his petition. As a result, the UK prime minister Mr. Gordon Brown has issues an official apology for the way Alan Turin was treated. More here : http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8249792.stm
